Some organisations and companies require their employees to wear a uniform. What kinds of jobs require uniforms? What are the disadvantages of wearing uniform at work?

In today’s world, uniform plays a prominent role in human’s life due to this some companies and organisations adopt it. In this essay, I will discuss what kinds of jobs require uniform and I will also explain various disadvantages of it. Firstly, I think many government employees wear uniforms like police, traffic police and army officers, they have to wear their uniforms when they are on their duties to serve our country and save from enemies, crimes and accidents. Secondly, when people visits to hospitals or other medical centres, they see that doctors and nurses are in their dress code or in uniforms so that people can easily recognise them and also takes help from them. Thirdly, whenever people visits to big jewellery shops, they see that mostly women wear sarees and men wear formal clothes. The gatekeeper and watch men outside the gates have their dress code or uniforms which they have to wear on daily basis. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of wearing uniforms at work. Workers at organisations and companies feel very bored when they wear uniforms on daily basis, which might effect their performance. Moreover, by wearing fitting clothes, people do not feel comfortable. So, they find difficult to work and cause loss to employees as well as to the company also. In conclusion, there are some advantages and disadvantages of wearing uniform. Large companies and organisations should allow employees to wear comfortable clothes so that they can do well and feel comfortable at their work.
