It is true that these days, due to the booming development of modern technology, smartphones play an integral part on young people's lives. As a result, they may spend a large amount of their time on scrolling their phones. In my opinion, i believe that there are two notable reasons for this wholly negative trend. There are several resons why children do make the most of their time on smartphones. First and foremost, in this day and age, due to the emergence of Covid pandamic, people were strictly forced not to take up regular activies ouside and work from home. Therefore, modern devices make a huge contribution on our lives, namely dealing with a ton of workload and excersises, which children has no choice rather than pay attention to the screens most of the time. Secondly, it is inevitable that those eye-catching platforms on social media help us to reduce our stress. However, i also consider that this is an adverse trend if teenagers spend much time on phones. One outlined reason for that is the more they scroll out to watch those contents on social media, the more they may waste their time ineffectively. Consequently, youngsters may become addicted to smartphone users, as a result of keep watching it over again. Furthermore, scientists give information about using smartphone exceedingly, which will leave a numerous long-term effects on human's health. For example, people may get some illnesses such as headache and eye strained that may be one of the priority reason for brain's deterioration and Alzheimer disease. In conclusion, there are some clear reasons why youngsters can not put a halt to use their smarphones. As a result, it could be adverse influences on each young viewer and the society at large.
