Should KFUPM allow cooking in campus

Currently, KFUPM has prohibited cooking on campus. However, this is a controversial phenomenon because many students believe that cooking ought to be allowed. if the cooking is allowed, they will save more money. In contrast, others believe cooking is not safe for them because it may cause crises. Thus, this essay will argue why should not KFUPM should not allow cooking in student accommodation. In the beginning, it is common that cooking especially in campus by students has multiple consequences. For example, it is dangerous and may start a fire in some cases. Additionally, there are several other factors like students burning their hands or any portion of their body. Consequently, it may cause death or permanent injury that might make enormous negative effect on their grades. Moreover, another drawback of cooking in students’ dormitory room is it will cause the university to drain a considerable amount of its budget. This is as a result of providing numerous facilities such as gas, kitchen supplies and even the kitchen itself. In addition it should do monthly maintenance reducing any risks. Therefore, that will have a financial impact. In conclusion, this essay has made the case that university should ban cooking on campus to prevent issues such as fire and budget problems. From my own perspective, it is better to prepare restaurant only for students with good quality food and appropriate prices instead of letting them cook.
