Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid.

Developed countries always prone to donate financial aids to 3rd world countries, even though, that is not an answer for the indigence. Accordingly, the 1st world nations ought to offer different kind of funding to developing regains in the globe as an alternative solution.
First of all, we need to aware of the restrictions which is decreased the development of 3rd world nations and which problems can be solved via financial support. As examples, that can be identified such kind of reasons to poverty, lack of natural property, political corruptions, traditional and religious believes, minor opportunities for education, highly unemployed population. . . etc. Above mentioned problems could not be solved by directly funded money, that poor governments expend such money on day to day expenditures, unnecessary investments such as non profitable, non nature friendly, non human developments or excepting public organization (schools, hospitals, transportations. . . etc) improvements. As a result, such nations suffer form same situation at end of the day.
According to my own experience, in Sri Lanka, 1st world countries have been investing or funding in different kind of projects which was totally differed from directly money transferring programs to government. Most significantly, such projects are long term results oriented projects, as an example, there is a project which is conducted by a Sweden organization, the main purpose if that program is developing health and education of selected children who are suffered from financial problems, more interestingly, after few years, that program was highly succeeded.
Mao Saturn once said, that is worth which gives a fishing net rather than gives a fish, as he said, poor nations need a method, technology, new market to sell their products, schools with educated lectures, vocational trainings and new industries. . . etc. that people will be developed with long term plans which funding via above spotted things rather than money.
