A mass involvement pledge campaign was conducted as a part of the initiative of Plastic Waste Free Gopalpur at Sea Beach, District Ganjam, Odisha with the support from Gopalpur Notified Area Council (NAC), HDFC Bank, Centre for Environment Education (CEE) with CORE and Nature Bodies. In this campaign, 4852 pledges were made in one hour by a team of 41 members including Prabhjot Sodhi CEE, Mr. Panu Halder, Shantanu Sahu, and 38 volunteers of the campaign thereby bringing behavioral change among people and moving one step closer toward a plastic waste-free lifestyle.
