The graph below show average carbon dioxide emissions per person in the UK, Sweden, Italy and Portugal between 1967 and 2007. JJaYB
The graph illustrates the average carbon dioxide diffusing per person in four countries from 1967 to 2007. Looking at the line graph, there was a significant decrease in carbon dioxide emission in the UK between 1967 and 2007 from over 10% to 8. 5%. The Swedish emissions rose between 1967 and 1977. After its peak at 10. 5% in 1977, it dramatically fell down to 7% in 1987. Then, it continued to drop to 5. 5% in 2007. Differently from the UK and Sweden, there was an upward trend in personal CO2 diffusion in Italy and Portugal. The Italian people gradually increased their CO2 emissions from 4. 2% to 7. 8% in three decades. Then, their personal emissions remained unchanged from 1997 to 2007. Similarly, there was a dramatic rise in Portugal from 1% to 5. 5% in four decades. Sweden and Portugal had the same proportion of CO2 emission in 2007. Overall, there was a different CO2 emission between two groups (the UK, Sweden and Italy, Portugal). The first group had a diminution of CO2 emissions, however, the second group was contrary.
