These days, celebrities put a great influence on the whole society. While some people think that having famous parents is a real gift, others still believe being a celebrity’s child have particular difficulties. From a personal perspective, I partly agree with this point of view. In this essay, I will outline the benefits as well as drawbacks of being a star’s child. On the one hand, having a famous father or mother seem to be a good luck, as their sons and daughters would be offered preferences in every aspect. For instance, they could enter international schools with good reputation and receive the best education environment. Moreover, famous children would also be treated fovourably due to their parent’s fame. So that they could have the ability to pursue and fulfill their passions without worrying about anything rather than how to show their best. On the other hand, it is obviously that there are some certain disadvantages. Being born in a famous family is a double-edged sword for the young. They enjoy privileges but must strive to not be overshadowed by the aura of their parents. In addition, on the journey to adulthood, they may experience jealousy and envy from others. It is considered to be very difficult to break down the walls of others' prejudices about these children. Therefore, they always have to live with contempt, paparazzi's excessive annoyance, comparison as well as negative feelings. In case their parents were hated, they for sure fall into the same situation. To conclude, although being a famous child is believed to be a favour, it also has a negative side that others cannot see. From my viewpoint, I reckon the opinion that everything has two sides, having so many priviledges all the time could lead to a process of growing up too dependent, which so far outweigh the advantages.
