On the one hand, when sports become a lucrative industry bring much income, companies begin to take advantage of that to benefit themselves, such as gambling as well as match-fixing is more popular and this often leads to social evils. Eventually, the result of a match will not reallity due to the fact it is manipulate, so a multitude of spectators will feel despair. Moreover in order to win and receive awards, a few sportsmen used to illegal performance-enhancing drugs, causes unfair competition among sportsperson and resentment among sports lovers. On the other hand, play sport is a positive function and effective for society. Professional sports require enormous investments while sports are not the major concern of goverments compared to other social issues; therefore funding from private firms is indispensable for the development sports, as football leagues and tennis tournaments, the best player or teams, receive the most sponsor from commercial enterprises, they are more likely to have greater motivation to devote hard work and time to their training. Besides, when partcipant become successful and famous, they can improve their community either morally or in other aspects. And they are also a source of encouragement teenagers and youths pursuing a dream in a specific sports field.
