It is true to say that the 21st century is the golden era of technology. The evidence here is the ever growth of several social media in the early 2000s. Right after that, they rapidly become catch on and be applied widely by thousands of users over the world, especially the youngsters. This kind of person is super into many types of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. They use them for different purposes. However, posting photos on Facebook is now all the rage. This activity becomes so popular that we can see a large number of pictures uploaded on Facebook whenever we turn on the app. Although I cannot deny the attraction of posting selfies on the technology platforms, especially Facebook, I don’t think it is a good idea for me. Unlike many youngsters today, I am inclined to enjoy life through reality and save all that memories on my phone, not share them on Facebook. This is because I find it quite unsafe to post my photos on this kind of social media. Many strangers can use my pictures or profile for the wrong purposes such as registering for a random course or asking for money from a loan shark. Perhaps these things will not influence me at all, they make me feel sick. Furthermore, if you update your activities so often, some people can stalk you and do something bad to you when they know your schedule. This isn’t good news for girls since they are the ones usually targeted. In addition, you could be in a black mood in case Facebook reminds you of some memories that you don’t want to recall. For example, you used to have a good relationship with somebody but a quarrel makes it separated. As a result, you have to delete all the pictures that you have with that one or Facebook will evoke these reminiscences annually. In conclusion, many youngsters are the devotees of updating their photos on Facebook but I will not do the same as I think it has so many drawbacks behind.
