In todays world tourism is important sector of any country developing countries are more depending on tourism industry fore their economy. In this essay I will discuss both advantages and drawbacks of tourism. There are mainly two advantages of tourism in countries First of all it is help to get foreign currency for country and it is result in to increase in economy of country. Because tourists spent their money on transportation, hotels, restaurants. They buy cultural things as memory of visiting there. Secondly because of tourism demand of hotels, restaurants and transportation increases which helps to increase employment for local people on other side local businesses also grows as tourists buy traditional and cultural things from there. However, there are few disadvantages also their the main disadvantage is than because of over population of tourists at tourism places like natural places, heritage places there is chance that places get damaged as If some tourists do not understand importance of old monuments and do something which affect it. Other drawback is some time too much dependency on tourism industry for country’s economy will affect it when tourism reduces because of any reason. For instance, because of Corona pandemic tourism industry was in very bad condition people are not allowed to go anywhere and all who dependents on tourism have to suffer during that period. However advantages outweigh drawbacks of tourism. In conclusion, tourism is considerable sector of world to overcome it’s disadvantages government have to find ways.
