They feel it allows them to choose a course that fits them best. What is more, since students have to live and work on their own while studying in a foreign country, they become more confident and independent which helps them in their future career. On the other hand, it cannot be ignored that there are some downsides in studying abroad too. Firstly students have to worry about their living and study cost as it is almost always more expensive in a foreign country than in one's own country. In addition, since students have to live far away from their friends and family for a long period of time, they suffer from homesickness. to cope with new culture and study in a different language, which may affect their performance negatively. 2szu ss.
