Few people of society are of the conception that, high qualification only results in high-salaried job. Whereas others are of the opinion that, work experience is the key role to achieve high-packages. I believe that, having hands-on experience in any field, makes a person proficient in that field and leads to a well-paid job. This essay will discuss both the views. To begin with, higher qualifications at the university level shapes a person with a commendable knowledge. This will be beneficial to attain a job that pays well. A student in his degree can go through many subjects, but at the end he can master only a few skills that makes him job ready. For example, a lecturer is the one who teaches only one subject in the college, but he studies many subjects during his graduation. On the other hand, experience is the key where one can develop a skill set, while implementing the subject in the real world. This is where the person becomes skilful and expert. A freshly graduated student can join in an organization for a work with lesser salary and in due course of time, he would gain a lot of experience through practical approach. So he may get promoted to a higher position with a decent salary. Consider an example, a technician is the person who learns a lot only through working and whose initial salary was less, gradually increases with his experience. In conclusion, both higher qualification and experience are crucial in attaining high salaried jobs. However, pragmatic execution of subject makes a huge difference.
