In the past, sporting champions used to be motivated primarily by the desire to win a match or to break world records. These days they are more likely to be motivated by prize money and the opportunity to be famous. Sporting tournaments and such events were purely organized to demonstrate the physical capabilities of an individual as they compete against each other at a particular play for their country, at the past dates. But, in recent years, the participants are more interested in typical values such as the prize money or an opportunity to gain fame through their exhibitions. This has given a negative message to the younglings that entering sports fields will get them easy money and fame.
This is due to the rapid turning of our sports society into monetary associates. In this day and age, fame is reviewed as the right to have various opportunities just knocking at their door with big bucks at hand. Being famous or not is directly or indirectly connected with the rise or fall of that particular player regardless of his/ her capabilities and talents.
In this regard, sports itself will most probably only remain as the secondary focus in any type of future tournaments. The main focus will most probably be the financial value of the players themselves and clubs will turn to firms that invest in the most recently hyped assets( players) at the market.
Looking towards this direction, if all the athletes were to be bribed successfully by cash, the richest country or club associates would soon dominate a majority of grand events in the near future leaving the meaningful competitive play days far behind with a single business-minded competitive tournament where contestants are not remembered by their play's display and talents, but rather memoried by their economical values.
In conclusion, if the sporting champions and their concepts are not brought to their respective right paths, the playful environment might disappear leaving future championships only as a stage at the minds of the future players to sell their talent and make easy money.
