Many people assert that pictorial presentation of the news stories is more effective than textual or verbal presentation. I strongly believe the fact that certain news gives better impact with the help of pictures. Nowadays, photographs have become an integral part of the news published on paper or broadcast on television. First of all, visual communication is a powerful tool which provides recognizable tool and helps the reader to figure out which article they should read. For instance, I am a huge fan of music therefore whenever there is an image of my favorite singer in any magazine or newspaper, I started reading the whole article. Secondly it catches the attraction of young generations or kids as well. To exemplify this, the children do not have enough vocabularies but they take interest due to graphical presentation of the entire story. Also it can help children to develop the habit of reading newspaper in this electronic atmosphere. Furthermore, many studies show that majority of people do not like to read or listen a full pager content due to the busy lifestyle and the development of internet. These days’ websites or social media posts are using shorter content with multiple pictures to attract consumers. On the other hand, the press release related to accidents, molestations or murder must not include the insensitive sketches. To illustrate this, these heinous drawing will give a worst impact on children’s mindset and also it a depressed condition to people with sensitive personality or heart illness. To sum up, pictures speak louder than words and in this era of modern technology it replaces thousands of words. In my opinion, drawings give more attraction to the consumer but it is better to avoid in few exceptional scenarios like, accidents, rape bulletin.
