Dear Immigration Officer
My name is Hathairat Pinitsuwan, and I am a Work and Holiday Visa applicant. I am writing this travel plan to address my objective of going to Australia. I graduated from Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand. I have been doing an engineering position in Thailand for almost 5 years. I plan to travel around the world, which is my dream. I heard about the program two years ago from my friend who has been spending her life in Australia with a Work and Holiday Visa. I am interested in joining the Work and Holiday program in 2022 due to the fact a Work and Holiday Visa is a extremely inclusive program. I can travel around Australia for a year. I can have the possibility to work to cover my expenses. Finally, I can have a by-the-book experience combining travel and work.
My rough schedule, I expect to get a visa around Nov 2022, and then I will land in Sydney around July 2023. I decide to stay in Sydney as my friend lives in Sydney with a student visa. I plan to stay in Sydney with my friend for the period of 1 year. In my first 3 months, I plan to take a language class like the General English course or the English for Business course. After class, I plan to find a part-time job, such as delivering food from restaurants to consumers using bicycles as this position is supremely flexible, and I can manage my work schedule by myself. Nevertheless, work at cafés and restaurants in a waitress position as I had experience while I went to United States with a Work and Travel Visa 5 years ago. If I am gaining some pocket money from my part-time job, I will spend my money on travel. First of all, I plan to travel to New South Wale. I plan to visit Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Bondi Beach. Sydney Opera House is located on Sydney Harbour. Its unique use of a series of gleaming white sail-shaped shells as its roof structure makes it one of the most-photographed buildings in the world. Bondi Beach is one of Australia’s most well-known beaches, its laid-back coastal style and café culture. Bondi Beach is 30 minutes from Town Hall Station. After that, when I finish my language class, I think my language skill which gains from English class and my experience which had from a part-time job will be improved. I will find a full-time job in a technology role since I graduated from the engineering and technology field. In my last 6 months previously going back to Thailand, I plan to travel to Victoria and Queensland. In Victoria, I plan to visit The Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles, Philip Island, and Brighton Beach. The Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles is one of Victoria’s most iconic natural attractions and popular for visitors at sunrise and sunset. Admire the Twelve Apostles, limestone stacks located off the shore of Port Campbell National park. Philip Island is home to the Little Penguins and idyllic beaches. The island is well-known for its Little Penguin parade. In Queensland, I plan to visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Streets Beach, and Wheel of Brisbane. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary, home to over 100 koalas and 70 species of other Australian native animals. The sanctuary offers guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with the wildlife in nature. From koala holds to kangaroo feeding. Finally, I will fly back to Thailand around June 2024. These is my roughly plan while I am in Australia. The main reason is to travel to Australia and explore the country and culture.
I believe that the Work and Holiday program would improve my language skills since language acquisition is achieved through practical immersion. There is no better place to improve my competence than the countries in which the native speaks language. Also, I can have the opportunity to pick up another language. I can make numerous friends from around the world and numerous various backgrounds. They will give me access to explore various cultures and thus enhance my understanding of the world. I will be gaining skills which allow grow more independent and adjustable. These will be extremely useful later in life in both further education and my career.
I will make observations of all the conditions of my visa and will definitely come back to Thailand with it allowing time. I wish I had given useful information for your consideration.
Best Regards,
Hathairat Pinitsuwan
