In view of this, there is an irrefutable debate that discusses whether the internet will replace books since the tendency towards book reading is diminishing. In this essay, I would agree with the following position and expatiate in the forthcoming paragraphs below while I conclude my opinion. To commence, one of the pivotal reasons why I agree with the said argument is that the technology has immensely developed all over the world rapidly. Therefore, people tend to surf the internet at large and gain a wide variety of knowledge from it rather reading books. For Iinstance, in accordance with a recent research done in America, it has revealed that the usage of internet by youngsters in learning has increased from 68% to 82% by 2021. Undoubtedly, this signals that the globe direction is more towards the browsing of the internet. Secondly, another highlighted reason I conquer with the narration that above mentioned is the utilisation of the smart devices all over the world. Consequently, there is a finger tip access to the internet by anyone. Therefore, younger generation who live in tech-savy world has a lot of pathways to gain knowledge. To cite an example, the internet provides summary details to a specific area within a very short period of time and books do not provide the same information instantly. Invariably, multifold education arenas can be accessed by the internet in a flash.
