Fossil fuel, such as coal, oil and natural gas, is extensively used in many countries which causes harm to the environment. The use of alternative sources of energy, including wind and solar power, however, are being encouraged in many countries.

Several countries push to aggravate the use of wind and solar power as the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gases causes distress to the environment. I strongly agree to this decision as we, human beings are responsible for taking care of the planet we live in.
With the advancement of technology, man has reached great heights, however, this has shown a steep decline in the wellbeing of our environment. To illustrate, burning of fossil fuels and other organic gases release harmful compounds like CO2, Carbon Monoxide, etc. into the surface of the earth. It has been proven by various experiments that this has caused a considerable amount of harm. To exemplify, the ozone layer which protects us from harmful sun-rays has several holes in it as a result of chemical reactions. It is in turn proven that the gases from fuel combustion is the reason for this.
It is undeniable that mankind has become accustomed to the technological breakthroughs. At this point, going back to a world without vehicles or electricity is quite literally the unthinkable. Thus, instead of re-adopting the primitive measures, we should adopt more eco-friendly resources such as wind and solar power. To add to this, energy sources like the sun and wind are non-exhaustive as contrast to fossil fuels. This makes it a wiser choice and the authorities should push the citizens to adopt these so as to try and mitigate harmful effects on the world.
In conclusion, replacing fossil fuels with more eco-friendly measures will only help protect the planet we live in. In my opinion, this is definitely a positive development as we can try to preserve the earth in its authentic self, without depleting its resources.
