Modern forms of communication such as email and messaging have reduced the amount of time people spend seeing their friends

It is claimed that people spend less time with their friends because of contemporary means of communication like email and messaging, which has impacted social life of people negatively. Nonetheless, there are many advantages in many aspects. Contact to people via modern communication devices is a real convenience. Taking past time into account people corresponded with each other by letter or phone. However, these two ways take a long time. They suffered problems to communicate. Long distance made it hard for people to have a face to face meeting also. As a result, the relationships tended to be faded away over time. Nowadays, even though people cannot communicate face to face, socialization increased compared to the past. People have plenty of network of contact thanks to advancements in communication devices. If people fancy seeing their friends, they can easily contact with them. Social life go better than the past because people can become socialized whenever they want. Furthermore, everyone can send a instant message to their friends everywhere with easy methods. For instance, I have a friend who live abroad and we can keep contact through mobile application of Whatsapp. Moreover, I can broad my mind by messaging with others from other countries. In brief, I totally disagree with this idea and exactly believe that modern types of communication have develop social life of people. I do not think that email or messaging have not cut down the amount of time people spend meeting their friends; on the contrary, they can spend more time to hang out with their friends by means of contemporary communication devices.
