Cultures around the world are becoming more and more similar. What are the reasons for this? Is it a positive or negative trend? 8EV
Nowadays all culture models have become incredibly resemblance day by day. It occurs due to the fact that cutting edge technology transmits new ideas and trends extremely fast and removes all national boundaries on its way. From my point of view this tendency contains more flaws than merits because in this way people lose their individual culture features. At the present day modern generation is used to filming and spreading culture memes and habits via advancement of technology such as social networks. All these movements transmit cultural legacy from one account to another and in the end of this chain nobody knows who belongs to a custom. Especially, if this culture innovation appears among teenagers, it will be beyond the country borders within some hours. For example, a new dancing trend which has certain numbers of followers in a social network fairly easily becomes popular all over the world. Undoubtedly this process of disappearing cultural traditions has a negative impact of cultivating further development inside each nation. People forget their folklore, fine art and try to duplicate contemporary movements. An individual history of each country can namely stop to evoke an interest of new generations. For instance, according to the latest research, if culture borders are removed, people will not attract traveling and it can dramatically decrease a country’s income. To conclude, today cultural features between different countries have become hardly noticeable. It happens because new trends magnificently rapidly expand through the Internet. They literally become a part of our social life and lose their origins and cultural identity. Apparently that losing cultural roots could lead merely to ruin and ultimately the disappearing identity of each nation.
