The map reveals a manufacturing area in Norbiton in the present day compared with future plans.
Overall, the main streets and the river of the industrial area will be saved. In addition, this area exists only up to the city boundaries without developing out of them.
First of all, in the present day the area has 8 factories and two primary roads. The future scheme shows the increase in the number of roads by approximately threefold. Moreover, there will be a new circle road for the cars to avoid traffic.
Secondly, all factories will be replaced by housing and new infrastructure such as shops, medical centers and playgrounds. The overall number of all buildings will be increased by 11 times. Lastly, the farmland will be moved to the right in order to build a new bridge across the river. It will allow people to visit another part of this area
