Map for langley town and there are two maps there BNa
The two maps illustrate how the town of langley was developed in 1910 and 1950.
Overall, there have been several changes occurred in the town during these years. The main change is the increase of store numbers.
Firstly, the townhouses were being replaced by flats and the Sherman built on the site of the factory. Moreover, the empty space of the wasteland has become a laundry and down the sherman street the store was turned into a cafè. The flats all along the sherman street were contracted with a park. A line of old railway workers cottages were knocked down to make way for the new lane road and children’s play area. On the other side of the new lane road the three stores have been built up. The railway line was removed to extended the sherman park.
