It is well-known that humans’ desire, once it gets established on both plans, financially and matrimonially, is nothing more than visiting pristine lands. It is not that people have finally acquired the meaning of beauty, but that we live in a decade when everyone is trying to keep up with the Joneses. Thus, they try to sneak everything, either material objects or traditions. But, does travelling truly help us? One positive outcome from travelling abroad is related to the countries’ economy. By visiting other places, we spend a considerable amount of money on accommodation and leisure activities. As a result, we ensure a good circulation of financial resources that can help the deficient territories improve their management and solve the problems they have faced. In addition, while tourists either admire the distinguished scenery or taste the local cuisine, they can enrich their knowledge and obtain an overall vision of the differences between cultures around the world. At the same time, this cultural approach can lead to a disappearance of the inherited traditions. Thus, the past of the country is at risk of being erased over years. Another negative effect of travelling refers to the pollution which is left behind by the antique ways of transportation that do not promote an eco-friendly environment. That is why the degradation of the ozone layer is more and more noticeable nowadays. To conclude, while travelling overseas have a significant role in aiding the countries to reach an identical economic level so that connections between people of different societies can be easily bound, I believe that we should not ignore its catastrophic negative impact on Earth’s flora and fauna.
