Many countries are spending a huge amount of money on supporting their competitors to take part in some worldwide competitions. Some argue that it would be better if some countries can spend the money on children to take part in sports. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, worldwide competitions such as Olympic Games becoming increasingly popular. while a number of people believe that the city council has duty to spend more funds in young generation rather than competitors. From my own perspective, I partially agree with this view, and I am sure that both of them are equally important. Firstly, it is undeniable that the sprot games promote the cultural communication and interaction between nations. For example, when athletes come to another country to take part in a match, they are able to learn the history and culture about that country, which could broaden their horizons and vision. As a result, the bond between countries has become more strengthen. In addition, athletes are more likely to receive better health care if they injured in the competition. In other words, when they get hurt, including sprained feed, strained legs and even broken bones, they are able to access to treatment timely instead of missing the best treatment period since there is limited financial resources. Secondly, the administration also has responsibility to invest more money in children’s sports activities. There is no doubt that sprot is an essential part of kids’ daily routines, simply because sports are able to make them stronger and healthier. They need to run and jump in order to make their muscles work. Furthermore, in terms of governments, they are more likely to gather sports talents through the games, therefore, they could cultivate sufficient new athletes to participate in international match. In conclusion, in my opinion, not only the sportsmen have opportunities to obtain the financial supports from the city council, I suggest that spend money on children’s sports programs also has enormous functions.
