There has been a significant change in transport modes in the City of Cambridge from 2008 to 2018.
It is noticeable that in 2008 the use of automobiles reached the highest percentage as a means of transportation. Buses being the second in use with a30% in 2008.
However, in 2018 the use of cars is reduced by almost half the percentage that it had in 2008, with bicycles doubling and walking two and a half times. It is followed by 25% of the buses. As we can see, the use of the bus remains practically stable.
Overall, it is evident that people are more aware of sustainable transport modes and there is a trend towards their use.
