In the present age, there has significant changes in charities and organizations. It can clearly be seen that they set up specific dates such as national nonsmoking day, children’s day and publicize their activities through them. This essay will argue why do they publish such events and also will discuss the effects that it provides.
It is first necessary to acknowledge that purposes behind this phenomenon. Firstly, charity members want to increase awareness of the people. Therefore, promulgate their activities is the best way to encourage individuals. Secondly, NPOs do so is to rise funds for their working. They are not able to seek money when they do their tasks in secret ways. When they publicize their works, they can get people’s attention as well and people contribute their whole heartily. Last but not least, volunteers can get feedback from the others and they can correct their mistakes. In addition, It seem to be a positive light for their activities.
On the other hand, under this circumstance has led to provide many advantage for society as well as individuals. When they are setting up the special days, it brings people together. Especially people belong in a busy world, and they hardly pay their attention to particular things. For example, children day for children; thus, that day parents should spend their time with their children. Furthermore, most days that they set up as especially days are associat with social problems. Giving highlights to such issues help to eradicate it. For example, in national environmental day, there are many programs in order to acknowledge people.
