MANY CITIES ARE NOW TURNING PARK AND FARMLAND INTO NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS. IS THIS A POSITIE OR NEGATIVE DEVELOPMENT? N1KJd
In globalized era, public parks and farm are being transformed into new residential areas by some part of nations. Although there are some beneficial impacts, I would argue that there are more detrimental consequences. One of the main reason for behind that tackle traffic congestion. Individuals tend use their privacy vehicles than publics that lead to overcrowding in metropolis. Expanding the length of the resident could handle the cramming by subsuming the park and farmland into urban areas. For instance, Ho Chi Minh city is enlarged the highway by industrializing public parks and rural areas. As the results, traffic jam may likely reduce significantly and traffic accidents could be handled slightly. However, developing housing could neglect the natural world, in other words that it could increasing environmental pollution. A mass of materials are able to be consume to industrialize metropolias that may eliminate polluted chemicals causing contaminated atmosphere dramatically. For example, some researches pointed out that Ha Noi city is ranked the first pollution levels of fuels, gas emission that could reduce in life expectancy of future generations. As the result, people could be got a plenty of respiratory diseases such as lung cancer or asthma. In conclusion, urban expansion are being changed by parks and farmland by some municipals. Although there have advantages in metroplolia, this misguided developments may affect the environment and lifestyle and I think that it would not be encouraged.
