Mental Health Education is a special subject tackling our emotional, psychological and social well-being. Our mental health has a major part in our health because it helps us determine the way we are handling our stress, relating to others and making our choices in life. Having a mental health awareness while growing up from childhood to adolescence and adolescence to adulthood is essential because it teaches us the concept of loving ourselves and being responsible with our own mental health issues. When we experience mental health problems our way of thinking, mood and behaviors changes that we might feel too much sadness, pains, and helplessness. Feelings that could lead to terrible decisions in life such as hurting ourselves, hurting others or may end up ending our lives. That’s why being aware of our mental health is significant because it allows us to cope with stressful events in our lives and makes us realize our real potential as a person. Mental Health Education increases the positivity in oneself because we have professionals that will teach us the right ways in handling our mental health and being aware in giving solutions to mental health difficulties such as anxiety disorder, trauma-related disorders and personality disorder to avoid horrible events like committing suicide that brought by the despair and peer pressure from the society.
