Low Salary for more time with family
Low Salary for more time with family YK5Jj
If it's a salary that you can survive on that is healthy then absolutely. Many people focus too much on making more money, having more clothes, more entertainment; more comforts, etc. We can either need more or want less, there's many things we do everyday that we have unconsciously engrained into our brains out of habit; we think we need coffee in the morning, or a cigarette, or spend more money eating out because we don't have 'time’ to make our own food, but if we did have time; would you make your own food instead of eating out? Or if you had more time, would you still need that coffee or nicotine buzz to keep you energized and alert; or would you be able to have a bit more rest for doing something you enjoyed?
Do you really need that brand new car from a dealership that requires a down payment and a monthly subscription, or if you had more time could you find a car in decent condition from Facebook or local from the former owner for less money that may just need a few things fixed here and there? I've known people who bought cars from dealerships and already had problems with the car shortly after, same with buying a used car from a place like Facebook, but if you take your time and be consistent you can find the right car for you.
Living below your means does not mean you have to be miserable, it just requires time to make plans on using money wisely. Cutting out unnecessary entertainment; like your cable to opt for streaming or YouTube instead, finding healthy hobbies which aid in supporting a great lifestyle for you and your mental health. If you were to do small tasks you enjoyed doing compared to ones you dislike doing, you will come out feeling more energized than before from the tasks you enjoy doing as it feeds your soul. Always strive to live a balanced life, even if you have to crawl; make your health and wellbeing a priority, it is not selfish to do so; it is a necessity. Make your own food, you will come to find most of the time food from scratch costs much cheaper than pre-made/pre-packaged meals and is more nutritious. Look for deals, sales; coupons and local shops. There is a solution and time will always be the greatest asset.
The final habit that is often overlooked but plays a major part is to be kind to your mind and to yourself, strive to push yourself; but be kind to yourself. You're doing the best that you can, and if you don't feel you aren't; then what things could you do at this moment so you can start doing the best you can for yourself? Do that thing.
