The line chart below demonstrates the number of bales of cotton manufactured by five nations from 2004 to 2018. Overall, China was leading, but it took place by India. The USA was in second place, and it dropped to third place. Pakistan is almost kept at the same level, however, it declined to the five-place, and it took place by Brazil. China’s cotton production stood at 30 million bales in the year 2004, there was a dramatic increase in the following 4 years, the production rise to 36 million. After this, it dropped to 30 million again and rose slightly. From 2004 to 2008, United States’ cotton output decreased significantly, and there was a fluctuation between 12 to 17 million in the following 8 years and rose again to 20 million. From 2004 to 2013, India's cotton manufacture increased gradually and reached the peak. After this, production fell from 2013 to 2015 and grown up a little bit. Brazil's production stood at just over 10 million in 2004, it was steady in the next 10 years, however, it dropped a little bit to just under 10 million in 2018. The number of bales of cotton manufactured in Pakistan was 6 million in 2004, the number was doubled in 2018.
