HOW THE UK UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE SPEND THEIR TIME

Most of people beleive that men and women that are unemployed spend their leisure time in the same way. However, the table given demonstrates the that this is not entirely true. As we can see, the table shows the difference between those activities done by women and those that are done by men. Moreover, in the table we can appreciate in which moment of the day, whether in the morning or in the afternoon, each group spends their time doing the activity. The main difference that can be appreciated is that most of women (49%) usually do housework in the morning while 21% of men tend to do it in the afternoon, and the same happens with shopping: woman prefer going shopping in the morning while men prefer to do it in the afternoon. However, it is almost impossible to find an activity that men usually do in the morning but not women. Regarding all the mentioned above, we can concluide that both men and women prefer to spend their morning moving from one place to another and then spend their afternoon at home watching TV, reading or just doing nothing.
