Judging others based on looks

In real life, there are numerous people who assess others through their looks. On some level, it can be beneficial but in other cases, it can lead to misjudgments. In this essay, I will give my opinion for and against this practice. On the one hand, we are unable to analyze people's situations and social classes from the outside. One’s outfits cannot TELL what they do and who they are; THEREFORE, judgmentS based on physical appearance can lead us to conclusions that are not true. For example, people can wear casual clothes but they can POSSESS a company worth MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Secondly, in some cases, we can GET TO KNOW ONE’S characteristics through THEIR style. In particular, an odd-colored, loosely-fitted and shabby clothing may be an indicator of a careless attitude. IT IS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE IF IT happenS ONCE OR TWICE, but if IT DOES ON A DAILY BASIS, this can be true. In addition, multi-colored and flashy outfits can indicate a person’s exuberant and lively nature. For example, entertainers and celebrities are often seen wearing jazzy dresses. To sum up, drawing conclusions about people based on how they look can be a wise choice to evaluate their characteristics UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. However, sometimes it can backfire because of wrong estimation.
