Nowadays, people, around the globe, search the internet to find out information that they need in their everyday life. I believe that all the data accessed through google is not reliable however all kinds of information are available in the web. In this essay, I will discuss why the information provided by all the websites is not genuine and how we can keep control of the wrong information that we may gain from the online world.
To commence with, everyone ranging from governments to business/education/health/welfare agencies have their own websites through which they divulge different types of information to public/clients. Besides, many scammers and fraudulent people also run their own websites which are intended to rip off people through false message. For example, when we search for a particular information in the web, the name of too many websites pops up on our screen at the same time. We have difficulty finding out which website can provide right information. If we cannot identify the genuine website, we may receive wrong information.
We can save us from receiving misleading data by searching the website of a particular organisation that we are looking for. Nevertheless, too many web addresses with similar name open at the same time, we can choose the right website by reading correct web-address of the organisation and opening it. This process can rescue us from junk information.
To conclude, however we depend on the internet for learning or receiving knowledge, we should be aware of the false information that we may acquire from the web. We can take control of all that by sticking to the genuine service providers’ website.
