Interest in homeschooling is becoming more widespread around the world. In your opinion, should school be compulsory for all children, or should families be allowed the right to choose to educate their children at home?

Homeschooling is growing increasingly popular around the world. Should all children be required to attend school? School is generally better for kids than homeschooling, but there are exceptions. Because some children are different, I believe that any family should have the right to choose whether or not to homeschool. Some disabled kids and kids with mental health issues would be better at home than school. They need special care at a young age so being in school can be overwhelming. Kids with mental health problems can be excluded, bullied, or just ignored by other kids. So schools are doing more harm than good for these kids. Kids especially at a young age are not careful so classmates of disabled kids can harm these kids while playing. But that`s not the only reason why parents prefer homeschooling in fact these kinds of kids are a small portion of homeschooled kids in various countries. Families have several reasons to choose homeschooling when it is an option. Some children are simply brighter than others and require additional schooling. Special or gifted kids may need better teachers or a better curriculum. Sometimes parents are concerned about the school environment, and some parents want to homeschool their children in order to have more control over what and how they are taught. Sometimes bullying and racism in the community can be one of the reasons. Minorities may wish to educate their children about their culture or faith. In conclusion quality of local schools, and concerns about the school environment or conditions of kids can be reasons why families prefer homeschooling. Regardless of the reasons if kids and their families are agreed that homeschooling is better then they should have the right to choose it.
