In previous decades, there was a rapid growth of interest in spending time watching, listening, reading, and interacting with media; hence, the mass media has the power to change perceptions. I strongly concur with this view.
Undoubtedly, a person's opinions are unconsciously influenced by being exposed to mass media repetitively. For example, teenagers, who are frittered away multiple hours of the day on social media, are bombarded with other people's physical perfection, which is what they are struggling with and affect their self-image.
