Some sections of the society believe that
money spent on music and theatre is useless and it should rather be used for providing services to citzens. I am firmly against to this belief and would like to discus it in detail.
Nowadays there has been advanced
improvements in all the areas of the community and we are no more
living with those orthodox and
superstitous practices that once used to exist. Furthermore, youngsters these days have excelled in distinct categories and fields whether be it academics, sports, entertainment or artificial intelligence. While education has a crucial role in shaping one's
future, the other activities including
dance, music, art and craft, singing have also proved to be beneficial and has inculcated skills in people.
So how can anyone say that monetary assistance should not be invested in these areas. For instance, in my daily life I have
encountered few teenagers who were not
good in their studies however they had
won lots of accolades in other
sorts of entertaining departments.
Also, the theater and drama industry has has given occupations to massive population. Moreover, numerous OTT platforms have been generated now which are in need of such talented actors and it therefore had helped aspiring youth of today to pave a path for their future.
If the tender generation of the current
time will have the access to all the
resources, it will not only unskill them but it will be a merit for the nation as well. And with the progress of a country, the basic amenities will naturally be served to its residents and no external support has to be provided.
To conclude, the people of today are the
citizens tomorrow. So if the budding artist of the present time gets all the sufficient aid for his career, his coming life is
automatically saved.
