Do you prefer tap water or battled water M13V6
As a Myanmar citizen, I prefer bottled water. First of all, tap water in Myanmar is undrinkable and dirty. Although we don’t drink tap water, we kept it in large open water urns or big plastic containers or tanks or tiny bathroom pool. So that, we can use it for washing utensils, taking shower and for kitchen use. The taste of tap water can be salty or slightly bitter depending on the place you live or type of pipes you are using. Rusty or old pipes and tanks will make the tap water tastes worse. But if it’s necessary, I would recommend you to boil or filter and do purification process before you consume it. Unlike western countries and Europe countries, there is no such things like organizations to monitor public water systems and impose enforceable health standards regarding the contaminants in drinking waters. Secondly, although well water is the main source of drinking water in rural areas, bottled water is major source for urban people in Myanmar. For more than a decade now, as bottled water has become the primary source due to changing consumer tastes, you can find private water purification factories all over the country and in almost every town. The bottled water i drink is purified but it doesn’t mean that it can be healthy since it is produced by RO system which is purification system used to purify sea water to remove salts. RO system can filter bacteria and many molecules and ions as well. The result is pure enough to be used in renal dialysis. So you will not get minerals which are naturally involved in water. When it comes to bottled water in Myanmar, I would recommend you to drink brands of bottle of water which are not using RO purification system. As it is advisable to not drink tap water, I would prefer to consume a potable bottle of water.
