By looking at this bar chart, we can see the different methods of waste disposal in four cities, which are Toronto, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, and Amman. There are four different methods of waste disposal, which are landfill, incineration, recycling, and compositing.
According to the chart, Toronto has a higher percentage of its waste by landfill method at 70%, while Kuala Lumpur takes up the lowest percentage of about 18% in this method. In addition, Madrid uses this method of 29% to dispose of their wastages, while Amman takes up a little less than a quarter of using this method.
The incineration method in Kuala Lumpur is a higher percentage than the other cities. This method takes up slightly more than a half. This method is used to dispose of 11%, 40%, 38% of waste respectively in Toronto, Madrid, and Amman. On the other hand, the recycling method in Madrid and Kuala Lumpur takes up more than 20%. This method is used only to dispose of less than 15% of total wastages in Toronto and Amman. The least used method in these four cities, which is compositing, is used to dispose of about 2-9% of total wastages.
