Attending a live performance (for example, a play, concert, or sporting event) is more enjoyable than watching the same event on television.

There is no second thought about it that live performance is more ecstatic than watching it through digital mediums. However, on the whole, I agree with this statement, but there are some reservations also. It is rightly said that real experiences cannot be replaced by virtual or by any other technological advancements. To embark upon, it creates an immersive experience as one can be in the same place as performers and can see. Moreover, one can see the performer’s emotions and reaction in real and can feel the energy of the audience sitting there and can feel the excitement of the event also. For instance, watching a sports event live allows one to feel like he is part of the action and enjoy more at that time. Moving ahead, one can also take part in the event by cheering, singing or dancing for his favourite performer and can motivate him. Furthermore, public can create new memories that will stay with them for their lifetime However, one can enjoy watching an event on television from the comfort of their home, not only this, but also one can save money on tickets and other expenses. In addition to this, watching performances which are recorded, allows to see replays and can analyse the game or any other art more easily. All in all, it can be said that attending a live performance is immersive and spontaneous as compare to television recorded videos, but exceptions are always there.
