In the past, people used to travel abroad to look many differences from their home country. Nowadays, cities throughout the world are becoming more and more similar. What are the reasons? Is this a positive or negative development? BNPld
During the previous times, humans used to go far to experience the differences from their own area. But now, the number of cities has increased continuously. In this essay, I will discuss the reasons for this and whether it is a good or bad way to develop.
Due to many reasons, many countries have decided to continually raise the quantity of cities. Firstly, metropolises are definitely the highest form in order to maximize the growth of economy. Secondly, records have shown that cities can effectively improve the overall quality of life of the citizens. And thirdly, following the technology completion, city is undoubtedly the number one factor. For instance, Qatar is slowly reaching the achievement of being a developed country because of the nation’s policies to increase and develop more and more cities.
But does the growth in the number of metropolises have any negative effect? Of course, there are some bad things related to the environment that must occur if we want to reach the maximum number of cities. But those negative effects can be solved with dedication. About the positive effects, cities have some undeniable good effects. For example, due to the high growth rate in cities, some problems such as homelessness, starvation were thought to be unsolvable, but now those are gotten rid of. Or, a problem relating to cities identified as “earth killers” because of the initial records about the earth isn’t really a problem anymore. The reason behind this is because the technology to keep the cities “greener than ever” has achieved perfection.
In conclusion, the reasons why the quantity of metropolises are rising are to improve the economy, quality of life of each individual and technology. Also, I believe that this trend is no doubt a good and needed development.
