Your school has enough money to purchase either computers for students or books for the library. Which should your school choose to buy – computers or books? Use specific reasons and examples to support your recommendation 1xlBq
In today’s world, it is undeniable that computers and books are indispensable for students. In case my school affords to purchase either computers or books for library, I would like to convince the principal to buy both of them for the following reasons. On the one hand, an obvious advantage of laptops is the quick provide of up-to-date and correct information. Because students can skip and select details by searching in a few minutes, they can save and spend time doing other activities. Meanwhile, reading may require a huge amount of time and be ineffective, as children need to turn pages over pages to find the right information. About two- third of USA teenagers reported that they study more efficiently when searching on PC than reading. In addition, another benefit from these date processors is to develop youth’s computer skill. Since they are living in modernization, most of the jobs need technology to complete the work. For example, engineers use computers to analyze, process and solve the technical problems; or teachers use to prepare fascinating lessons for students. On the other hand, it is true that books help broaden students’ mind. While computers just give a certain amount of data, reading supplies and helps scholars approach the new world of knowledge. For instance, when studying psychology, books give full explanation of psychological experiments, strategies and real examples. Moreover, reading is beneficial to mental well-being. It is due to the fact that electromagnetic waves from screens considerably affect adolescence’s brain function. Meantime, books are full of pages relaxing students’ mind after studying. In conlusion, computers and books generally have their own pros and cons. Therefore, it will be perfect if my school can balance the finance to buy both for students.
