Dear Mr. John,
I am writing to discuss about the new technical engineer we recruited last month.
As per the instruction received from Deputy Project Manager Mr. Thomas, to assess the new employee we rented from the Excellence subcontractor and Manpower Company, I have completed the assessment form and sent an e-mail as well. Meanwhile I learnt from secretary that Mr. Thomas is on emergency leave. Thus, I am mailing this information to you.
While working with him for the past three weeks, I got to know that he is not an engineer and based on his experience he has been promoted as engineer in his firm. Moreover, I acknowledged that he is not aware of any design related calculations and has expertise only in site related issues. In addition he confessed that he cannot continue with us as our main job involves solving of technical problems.
Tomorrow at the end of day, while we have a progress meeting, we can include this issue also, to create awareness to the management and hire a new skilled engineer instead.
I am available for further clarifications to discuss prior to raising this matter in higher management.
