It has been argued that computer skills should be considered as the main subject which is as necessary as the three above-mentioned traditional subjects. Personally, I believe that adding this skill is correctly and suitable in the technology century.
To start with, it is undeniable that writing, reading, and math are commonly known traditional in all most schools over the world. The reason for this idea is that these three recognized traditional subjects have an elevated responsibility to educate each person before starting to access new high-level subjects or experience new knowledge. As a result, proficiency in writing, reading, and math are conducive to the completion of people’s recognition. Besides, students can utilize these excellent functions to read newspapers, play math games, or text messages. To do that, students have to enrich their computer skills to use the computer most effectively.
In addition to this, I firmly believe that computer skills should also be the fourth largest branch. In the fast-growth of technology, the skills relevant to computers are much more important and become an advantage competitive of each person in a lot of life’s aspects. From studying to working, most of them have applied the technology recently. Due to this, if a person wants to get a job easily, they will have to prepare at least a fundamental computer skill.
In conclusion, while I believe that writing, reading and maths are the three recognized traditional subjects, I am still of the opinion that computer skills should also become one of the uttermost important subjects that students need to pay attention to.
