why teaching is decreasing in many countries

A generation ago, teaching is considered to be a extremely respectful and popular job and in some countries its still true. However, there is sharp drop in number of people who want to become high school teachers. This essay will look at reasons and some solutions for it. The first and main cause is low salary. They are loaded with lots of duties and they don't get paid enough for those work. for example The teachers with decade of experience are getting low salary compared to other profession in UK with same experience. So one solution I would propose is the government should increase their salary significantly which will attract plethora of youngsters in this profession. Secondly the main reason is lack of respect among students. Nowadays students are very disrespectful to teachers which makes them to give up on teaching. To tackle this problem parents should take responsibility and teach fellow pupil the sense of respect to teachers in order to behave better in class. Also the other problem is work-life balance. Teachers are tend to experience lots of pressure in times like exam invigilation, paper corrections etc. which makes them work late night in school and home. This negatively affects their family life. Every teachers must have some assistant teachers with whom they can share or divide their work to eliminate this problem. To sum up, teaching has become stressful and less popular jobs in many regions due to the reason of low wage, long working hours and misbehavior of pupil. This is serious problem and it should be sorted out soon otherwise our children education will suffer. My view is that main responsibility lies on parents and Government
