We have used several methods such as Hamilton syringe, microcapillary tubes and centrifugation. In the first two methods, we could not extract any nectar. So we decided to use the centrifugation method. We centrifuged the flowers at 1500 gn for 5 minutes. But we did not get a clear separation of the liquids. It seems that this method does not extract pure nectar. We want to be sure that we are getting only nectar and not pollen or cells from scraping petals, stigma, or stamens.
