Most people think that going to college or university is one of the most necessary things for one’s education for distinctive reasons, others think that it’s not that big of a deal. I personally consider that it is important to attend college due to the fact it helps with acquiring different kinds of knowledge such as ideas, values and skills that are relevant further on in my life. First of all, I believe that going to college will provide the best information and insight for different subjects that I can study or can improve past knowledge that I had previously. In that case I can come up with personal conclusions about different subjects that will give me the necessary tools for my future career. My personal experience is a compelling example. A few months ago I helped my uncle with a problem he had with the bank. Thanks to my knowledge acquired from my accountability classes, I was able to help him and even give him advice in future decisions. Secondly, during the time someone is at university, a lot of the life long values settle and that is due to the fact of two main things: what you see in your environment and also the people that are beside you in this time. I believe that having the right people besides me and a good environment for my personal growth is really important. A good example I can provide is that when I was in high school, my group of friends were really responsible and honest, two qualities that have stuck with me during high school and throughout university. In conclusion, I believe that one of the main reasons a lot of people go to university is to acquire the knowledge necessary for the near future, that way they can obtain different abilities, skills and capacities.
