These days, many people are unaware of the importance of protecting our environment even though the Earth is in danger. We must look after the world – it is our home. I strongly agree with this statement and there are some ways that we could start to make a difference.
To begin with, we need to change our transport routines more environmentally. Therefore, we should use public transport vehicles instead of private ones, so that we can decrease the exhaust fumes. Also, diesel and petro cars should be replaced by electric vehicles.
Furthermore, we have to obey the rule “three R’s”: reduce, reuse and recycle. Reduce the amount of waste we produce. Reuse items as much as we can before replacing them. Recycle items wherever possible. It’s really simple, isn’t it? These are an important part of sustainable living, as they help to cut down on the amount of waste we have to throw away.
Finally, we must end up using plastic bags since our rivers and seas are polluted seriously. The plastic gets broken down into small pieces being eaten by fish and this can lead to a slow painful death for them.
In general, solving the pollution problem can seem challenging, however, it starts with the smallest actions. We need to action now.
