Nursing can be defined as the combination of art and science that is associated with helping others. It's a perfect platform where we can take care of others with our loving hands. From my perspective, nursing is such a vast area that it is never-ending leaving and practising.
Every nursing student should be confident that they can be the best nurse with all the positive skills to make their profession a noble one. Most of the information available on the internet media is about the best top nursing colleges in the UK. It is not an easy task to be a nurse, especially when the student nurse is stressed throughout their study period.
I believe that a nurse should be passionate about her deeds. Her mannerisms must depict her attitude and interest towards others. In any circumstances, she should be very careful enough to follow professional etiquette. The years spent in nursing college will make a person capable to aspire the aspects of professional etiquette. The fundamental principle behind nursing itself is converting the illness of a person to the wellness of a person. Everyone thinks that doctors can cure diseases but the ultimate truth is that smiles and pleasant nurses are the key factors of CURE.
Even though I haven't started my nursing career, I am a little aware of what a nurse is, and what is there in nursing. It is surely under the category of skilled workers due to the artistic behaviour she portrays in her day-to-day work. Critical thinking and logical performance should come as spontaneously in her activity. A vigilant and proactive nature must be commentable while meeting the needs of patients.
During my childhood, I read through so many inspiring books about nurses. The most adorable and admirable nurse from ancient till now is Florence nightingale. Her selfless passion and commitment to caring for others are meritorious. History books revealed that she had served the wounded soldiers during the Crimean War.
I am looking forward to being a nurse in the next 2 years. I firmly trust that my calling is in nursing perhaps I would be a psychologist. It is very difficult to think back, at the age of 10, I met with an accident. But with the immense grace of above, saved with minor injuries. I was hospitalised for two days with bruises and abrasion. During those scary days, I got a chance to get friends, she was none other than my murse she took care of me in that days. She was a very kind and compassionate soul with a beautiful smile glued to her face. Till today, I carry that divine contrast in my contact list. Even after my discharge from the hospital, was none stable in describing her qualities. From that time onward, I decided that I must be a person like that who loves and take care of children.
In addition to that, from my childhood onwards I have chosen my Aunt as my role model. For my likes, she is also a kind-hearted nurse in the UK. That also boosted me to chase my passion to be the best nurse.
