We expect too much from our heroes

I would like to start my speech with my favourite quote “ A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to preserve and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles” by Christopher Reeve. A hero is anyone who shows courage when facing a difficulty A hero is anyone who helps others without expecting any favour from them A hero is anyone who motivates other people to live their lives by encouraging A hero could be anyone. But most of all, they are human as we all are. Then here is the question, what makes them so special, so extraordinary, so heroic and why do we expect too much from them? Surely, there is no particular need for a superpower or magic like Spider-Man or Harry Potter. Evidence of this statement is that they’re a lot of villains exist with superpowers such as Ursula from the little mermaid or Hades from Hercules. One excellent example would be Mirabel from Encanto. She has not bestowed a magical gift like the rest of her family. However, she has the quality and characteristics of a real hero, which includes intrepid, self-sacrifice, helpful, honesty, inspiration, courage, moral integrity, and determination. Taking the above-mentioned evidence into consideration, every person can be a hero: Parents, siblings, friends, teachers or a lover. Overall, real heroes are all around us.
