Unity is like a glittering ruby”

Do you know “Unity is like a glittering ruby”, don’t you? No one does not know about what unity is. Most people already know, but they do not just try this. Even though they all have their own idea, they do not want to share, or they want to do it by themselves. On the other hand, some do not want to accept the other ideas. Actually, it does not work, it is going to fail. Here are some tips on how unity is really important. In our world, while others may not be able to destroy people who are united, if people that are not harmonious or unified are easy for others to destroy. And also, as similar as there is a Myanmar proverb which is “if the cows split, the tiger will bite. ” So, we also have to be united in a family or in an ethnic group or in our country. Around us there can be our enemy, if we split one day, that enemy will be happy and destroy us. Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much (Helen Keller, 1903). Helen Keller’s observation about what can be done when we work together has value to our working lives as well. When teamwork exists in the workplace, employees can draw upon one another to improve the quality and capacity of deliverables, be they a product or service. There is another one of the Myanmar sayings “If the wheel is stuck in the mud, it can be moved by pushing together. ” In any case, there is no reason to fail if we work together in unity. Being united, many difficult tasks can easily be done within a short time. Even though we have big problems, we shouldn’t break up or give up easily. “Let all the ethnic groups be united. As long as our citizens are not united our country will remain useless in the world” (General Aung San, 1946). There are thousands of problems in man’s life. To solve these issues, united effort is essential. In Addition, there are lots of revolutions for freedom around the world. Due to the fact that most citizens hate dictatorship or colonies. So, the citizens started to revolutionize, it might take a long time but finally they got success for their freedom because of their strong unity. As a conclusion, there is no doubt about the fact that strength lies in unity. There are abundant stories, real incidents and experiences to prove this. If we are in unity, we will get a great shining success like a glittering ruby.
