The world is witnessing increase in crime rates. Many believe that this is due to the restrictions in capital punishments. Is capital punishment justifiable?

In offence rates, the globe, which can be generally seen to be witnessing an increase, has led to this question among most the individuals that in death penalties, it is happening just because of the restrictions. In my opinion, due to certain reasons, in this case, prioritizing capital punishments rather seems to be more advantageous than other punishments. To initiate the benefits of giving capital punishments to criminals. The first and foremost pro is the rise of fear among people. To elaborate, people committing any kind of heinous crime such as murder, rape, and child sexual abuse need to be punished in strict ways such as hanging, shooting, lethal injection, and beheading instead of sending to the prisons. Resultantly, whilst committing any kind of crime, the other people are likely to feel afraid that might be leading to a decline in criminal activities; however, via other alternatives, it perhaps to be impossible. To cite an example, the Islamic countries: Dubai, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, owing to killing or raping, giving behead punishment to the criminals, have almost 0% crime rate over there. Another major benefit is to provide justice to victims. To explain, if the death penalty is given to the criminals, the victims get proper equality, whereby the other people of the country feel secure and spend the life free from crime; it might not be possible without giving capital punishment. For example, in Delhi, the culprits involved in the Nirbhaya rape case finally hanged to death. Due to this, the victims got justice after a period of 8 years. In conclusion, according to my perspective, supporting capital punishment may be beneficial for raising the afraid in individuals as well as the maintenance of proper justice for victims.
